Strolls and local heritage

The valley has kept its harmony with its pastural roots. The village of Luz Saint Sauveur offers a number of local walks which will enable you to discover the historically rich and diversified countryside.

The waterfall walk

This is a water walk, throughout the ascent you will cross waterfalls, gushing in the springtime, the walk ends at the Hountalade thermal water source.

Napoleon's walk

This is a very easy walk allowing you to discover the typical architecture of the XIX century as well as the local amenities, ie climbing wall, adventure playpark and tennis courts.

The Castle of Sainte-Marie walk

This walk enables you to see the imposing ruins of the castle of Sainte-Marie castle and enjoy one of the bestviewpoints overlooking the village of Luz.
