The Pyrenees National Park

Located at the gateway to the Pyrenees National Park, Luz offers a myriad of animal and plant species for you to discover at the top of the Vignemale or on the Munia peak.

The Néouvielle Nature Reserve

Nicknamed “Little Canada”, the granite Neouvielle massif is remarkable in its number of lakes, its pines and its diverse landscapes.

Our mountain lakes

The Pyrenees are also renowned for their many mountain lakes that feed the network of penstocks for the hydroelectric power stations in the valley.

Before you head off on a walk or embark on a trip into the mountains or the Pyrenean peaks, be sure to take the necessary safety precautions.
