Luz Ardiden open since December 4th

The Luz Ardiden ski resort is open since December 4, 2021

Good news, the Luz Ardiden resort opens its ski area on Saturday December 4 for the winter season!

With 1.50m of snow at the top of the slopes, the ski resort opens its domain this Saturday, December 4th. After more than 20 months of waiting, skiers will enjoy the Aulian and Bederet sectors as well as a tasting of hot chestnuts on the opening day on the snow front. The Aulian restaurant will also be open.

Health pass

The Sanitary pass is compulsory to use all the ski lifts for people from 12 years and 2 months old. This decision to make the health pass applicable to ski lifts was ratified by decree of November 25, 2021. Its application is effective from December 4, 2021. In accordance with the regulations in force, persons subject to this obligation and unable to present a valid health pass during the checkout are denied access to the ski lifts.

Mask and distancing

Wearing a mask is compulsory from the age of 11 in all ski lifts and in the queues. Wearing a mask is recommended for children aged 6 to 11. Only ski lifts and conveyor belts may possibly be exempt from wearing a mask when used by a single user at a time.
Skiers are required to wear a surgical mask or a category 1 fabric mask (AFNOR SPEC S76-001 certification).
